Elixir of Oleander, A Color Changing Potion Bottle Prop

PLEASE NOTE:  These skull bottles always have a few surface scuffs or light scratches.  We pulled all of them that are too scratched up, and will be carving them up to look cracked for the October 15th drop.

Oleander is a beautiful, yet deadly plant that has been used in poisons and medicinals for centuries.  (Reminder: never except oleander tea) The duality of pretty pink flowers, commonly grown in flower gardens being quite deadly seems like a lovely metaphor to me and served as inspiration for this design.

-Glass skull-shaped bottle is full of eggplant purple potion that swirls to a silvery pink-lavender with silvery green highlights when shaken.  Potion will continue to swirl when being handled but will settle back down to eggplant after about 45 minutes of sitting still.  It will continue to color change indefinitely. 

-These bottles are not perfect, they always arrive with a few small scuff or surface scratches on them.  

-Hand-designed and aged label is affixed to a stained wooden tag that dangles from a bronze chain with a large bronze bail.  Label is printed on recycled paper and sealed with water-resistant sealant for durability.

-Aged cork is sealed with waterproof glue and finished with green and silver drippy faux wax.

-About 4" tall (10 1/2cm)

- Do not ingest, for decoration only.

*These bottles are intended to look old and worn. I hand age the labels, so they are faded and stained. Some are more stained and older looking than others, I enjoy the authentic, magical look!
