Memento Mori Color-Changing Potion Bottle Prop

Full of symbolism, this thought provoking bottle is inspired by Memento Mori art. (Momento Mori translates to "remember to die" meaning remember you will die." The color changing swirls are captivating, and can be used as a stim or meditation tool, or can simply act as a reminder that tomorrow is not promised, and we should live life to the fullest.

-Rectangular glass bottle is full of a dark grey potion that swirls golden when shaken.  This potion settles in a couple of ways, the gold will swirl when being handled, but settles down to grey in under an hour.  What's left is a light murky grey that will continue to settle darker and darker over the course of a few days, so if you play with your potions a lot, you can think of this one as a light grey potion.  If you do not, it will turn to a dark grey on your shelf!

-Lid is glued shut with waterproof glue and covered in drippy black and gold marbled faux wax. A glass dome set in bronze is affixed to the top.

-Neck is wrapped in aged twine knotted at the side with a deep red wax seal of an hourglass.  Bronze chain dangles down from the seal with three glass blood droplet beads.

-Aged label is a 17th century etching of a skull and crossbones with a memento mori themed poem surrounding it. It reads:

"Youth is a bud, Life is a flower,

Time is as sand, Flesh is as glass,

Spring in a moment, Dies in an hour,

Sand quick is run, Life soon doth pass."

My potions are designed to look old and aged, but to stand up to handling. Your potions will last many, many years, if kept away from extreme heat and direct sun (think windowsill).

-Do not ingest, for decoration only.
