Amas Veritas, A Color Changing Love Potion and Spell Prop

The watching of Practical Magic is something I look forward to each year, it's just my favorite feel good autumn movie.  This potion channels the feelings of hope and love that wind through the movie.

-Flask shaped glass bottle full of twilight blue potion with while flower petals floating in it. (polyester, not natural) It changes to a swirling lavender with pink hints and strong gold highlights when shaken.  Settles back to blue in about 20 minutes of setting still.

-Silver tone chain loops around the neck with a witch hat metal charm and a scroll metal charm that hold the Amas Veritas spell scroll.

-Hand designed and aged label reads: "A potion and spell of true love. Will draw or repel love."  It's sealed with water resistant sealant for durability.

-The neck is wrapped in aged pink twine that's been lightly bleached, to give it that sun worn look.

-Aged cork is sealed with waterproof glue and drizzled with blue and purple wax and stamped with a golden rose stamp.

-Scroll spell is hand aged on both sides and reads:

"Amas Veritas

They will hear my call a mile away. 

They will whistle my favorite song.

They can ride a pony backward.

They can flip pancakes in the air.

They'll be marvelously kind.

Their favorite shape will be a star.

And they'll have one green eye and one blue.

The person I dreamed of doesn't exist, and if they don't exist, I'll never die of a broken heart."

-Also included is a small, hand aged sheet of parchment with the quote from the end of the movie, sealed with a broom wax seal.  It reads:

"There are some things I know for certain: always throw spilled salt over your left shoulder, keep rosemary by your garden gate, plant lavender for luck, and fall in love whenever you can."

*These bottles are intended to look old and worn. I hand age the labels, so they are faded and stained. Some are more stained and older looking than others, I enjoy the authentic, magical look!
