Essence of Dittany, A Magical Color Changing Potion Bottle Prop
Please note: This is a warm brown potion that changes to a rich, antique gold color when shakes, but some of the gold sticks to the glass when settles. This doesn't affect the beauty of the swirls.
An essential for any witch or wizard's apothecary, especially if you work with unreliable magical creatures, are just learning to apparate or are particularly accident prone. A powerful healing agent, Essence of dittany is a healing potion made with copper, stewed dittany plants and shark spines.
-Funky glass dropper bottle has a dark bronze/black metallic topper with an aged blue rubber dropper. Bottle is glued shut, but dropper still works- as in, you can squeeze the dropper and make the fluid inside move and change color. It's full of a cinnamon brown potion that magically changes to a metallic coppery gold with gold flecks when shaken. It will settle back to brown within 20 minutes or so, and will color change indefinitely.
-Detailed vintage style label was designed and aged by hand and is sealed with water resistant sealant for durability.
-Neck is wrapped in aged rust colored twine tied with ceramic blue and aged bronze beads.
-Finished with a blue and gold St. Mungo’s wax seal.
-For decoration only. Though non toxic, do not drink, will not heal wounds.
-Just under 5" tall with the dropper.
I create life size, realistically magical potions that look like they live in the wizarding world or a wizened old alchemists workshop. They’re intended to look old and worn, while still pretty. I hand age the labels, so they are faded and stained. Some are more stained and older looking than others, your collection will look authentic.
