Lacewing Flies, A Polyjuice Ingredient

An essential polyjuice potion ingredient, lacewing flies are a must for any witch’s or wizard’s apothecary.

- Small glass globe shaped apothecary jar about 2/3 full of “lacewing flies”. (Not actually flies, these are actually small pieces of yellow pressed flower petals with a slight green iridescence.)

- Neck wrapped in aged lemon yellow jute and glow in the dark beaded chain, with Celtic knot and fly charms. These beads only have a strong glow for a few minutes in the dark, then fade. Won’t weird you out in the middle of the night!

- Hand designed and aged label is printed on tree free paper and sealed with water resistant mod podge for durability.

- Aged cork is sealed with water proof glue and finished with marbled yellow, white and green faux wax.

- 2 3/4” tall, 2” wide

I create life size, realistically magical potions that look like they live in the wizarding world or a wizened old alchemists workshop. They’re intended to look old and worn, while still pretty. I hand age the labels, so they are faded and stained. Some are more stained and older looking than others, your collection will look authentic.
