Phoenix Feathers, Large Apothecary Wand Core Bottle Prop

Part of our wand core collection, phoenix feathers create strong and versatile but tempramental wands.  So much lore surrounds phoenixes, that their feathers are sought after, even by those that don't make wands.

Phoenixes are large birds, and their tail feathers work best for wands, so these are large bottles!  (Possibly the largest I've made.)

-Large glass bottle full of multi-hued feathers in yellow, gold, orange and red.  They curl in the bulb of the bottle quite prettily, but the bottle isn't all the way full of feathers.

-Hand-designed and aged label is sealed with water-resistant Mod Podge for durability.

-Neck artistically wrapped in brown fabric that's been treated with hardener and highlighted with gold, copper and silver.  Each one came out a bit different!

-Bronze chain wraps around with a large Celtic-style pendant.

-Aged cork is decorated with a Grim Sweetness Apothecary wax seal, but I've left these unsealed, so you can remove your feathers for photo props.

I create life-size, realistically magical potions that look like they live in the wizarding world or a wizened old alchemist's workshop. They’re intended to look old and worn, while still pretty. I hand-age the labels, so they are faded and stained. Some are more stained and older looking than others, your collection will look authentic.
